We Are Water and Star

We Are Water and Star

The outside is in. We feel separate but our minds extend, radiating waves and sparks of thought that have the power to topple kingdoms. Or hate.

Our physical form is constantly changing. We turn over in sheds of skin, an involuntary submission to what fuels life—death. But this doesn’t have to be sad. We are not foreign pieces of the wheel; we cycle like any other, through stardust-woven fabric and droplets evaporated from the sea.

Except the mind. In long, light-fueled graces, consciousness is the great rushing onward. When those thoughts spark, it’s kindling to catch the eternal flame.
